Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is a non-invasive treatment that will provide a lasting solution for unwanted hair. The device uses intense pulsed light (IPL) to target the hair follicles. This light is attracted to the melanin (color) and to the blood vessels of the hair follicles.
MAKE RAZORS A THING OF THE PAST
Unwanted hair can be a source of frustration and embarrassment, growing everywhere from upper lips and underarms to backs and bikini lines. Shaving, waxing, and plucking only go so far before they’re needed again — which is why some people are seeking a more permanent solution with our Sciton laser.
During your laser hair removal treatment, a beam of light will be absorbed by the hair follicle that will cause the follicle to be destroyed.
On average, we recommend six to eight treatments. Our licensed aesthetician will provide you with detailed information to best suite your needs.
What areas can be treated with laser hair removal?
- Underarms, arms, legs, hands, feet
- Face, cheeks, nose, eyebrows
- Brazilian, bikini line, chest, back, abdomen, shoulders
- Legs, hands, feet

- Neck, front and back of neck around hairline

What to Expect After the Procedure
Laser Hair Removal treatments are recommended once every four weeks. You may noticed some slight redness or swelling for a few hours post treatment. You will want to gently wash the treated area and avoid sun exposure while the skin is healing.
After the recommended six to eight treatments, continuing maintenance is a personal preference. You may continue to shave the area but do not wax or tan until you are done with your series of hair removal treatments. Please contact our office to speak with one of our highly trained aestheticians to set up a consultation today and remove unwanted hair.
